The next meeting of the LSB is January 27, 2026. This meeting will include a by-election to fill one vacancy on the board and will be held at the Nolalu Community Centre at 7:30 pm.
Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Nolalu Community Center at 7:30 pm except for the months of July and December.

The LSB serves residents and property owners in the Townships of Hardwick, Lybster, Marks, Lismore and Strange (except those in Arrow Lake and Pete's Lake). All are welcome to attend the monthly meetings.
To be eligible to be nominated as a Board Member and vote you must be a permanent resident or property owner in the Nolalu LSB area. You must also be a Canadian Citizen and 18 years of age or older.
Board Members are members of the community volunteering their time to participate on the LSB.
The Secretary/Treasurer is a hired position and is paid a monthly honorarium to cover the time spent organizing meetings and interacting with the provincial government.
The LSB is a board run under the Ministry of Northern Development.
Elections are held annually in September. 5 board members make up the board along with representation from NCC and NEST.
The secretary creates the agenda, takes minutes, maintains the records of the LSB and Maintains the website.
